Honu for Janski Geocoin

Personal Coin von Team SigShark.
The coin is the creation of Janski, of the geocaching Team SigShark & Janski. Her lifelong love of the water, and her holidays in Hawaii with her family and later with her husband where they would swim with the sea turtles. Honu is of course Hawaiian for turtle, and the two images are both inspired by the Hawaiian Islands and nature. The tribal turtle image takes “Janski” and hides it in the design, while the outline turtle is a well-recognized petroglyph from the islands, with the coin intending to duplicate that petroglyph.
The coin also holds the motto “save the planet so we can swim”, tying the whole theme together.
