Guido alias longtomsilver ist ein enthusiastischer Geocoinsammler seit 2006. Er ist auf jedem größeren Geocoinevent in Deutschland und auf den GCFs in Europa fast immer anzutreffen. Seit 2011 finden die GCFs auch in Europa statt was maßgeblich an den Kontakten und dem Enthusiasmus dieses weit über die Kölner Stadtgrenzen bekannten Geocachers erst möglich wurde.

Nach den Erfahrungen aus der [[Datei:2203k.gif]] [[Koelner Dom Geocoin]] Produktion und der Vorbereitung der [[Datei:4592k.gif]][[Geocoinfest EU 2011]] Produktion war ich dann auch gerne bei diversen Multi-Event-Geocoin Auflagen mit eigenen Versionen dabei, so auch später bei diversen Gruppencoin Projekten wo man mich anfrug. Seit 2015 habe ich dann auch selbst Geocoins produzieren lassen. Hier in der Liste sind nur Geocoins aufgeführt an denen ich unmittelbar selbst mitgewirkt habe.

Seine Heimatverbundenheit ist klar erkennbar in zwei designten Geocoins. Ne echte Kölsche Jung eben. :)

Unser Hobby verlor im März 2022 einen über alle Grenzen hinaus bekannten, überaus beliebten Geocacher, Geocoiner und Freund, welcher das Hobby Geoaching und vor allem die Geocoins maßgeblich geprägt hat. Guido ist nun nicht mehr unter uns aber in unseren Herzen wird Guido und seine Erinnerung weiterleben.

GeoSmurfz veranstaltete im April 2007 einen Presale für seine GeoSmufz Geocoin. Er bot die Coins einzeln, aber auch in zwei Sets an (jeweils 4 RE-Coins plus eine LE-Coin). Hierbei war vorgesehen, dass die LE nach Bestellung produziert werden.

Außerdem kündigte er zwei XLE zum Tauschen (jeweils 15 Stück) und eine XXLE als nicht tauschbar an (10 Stück, vorgesehen zum Verschenken).

Ausgehend von einer Gesamtauflage von 250 Coins verbleiben nach Abzug der XXLE und XLE pro Set eine Anzahl von 105 Coins. Daher ist es wahrscheinlich, dass die Anzahl einiger der produzierten RE unter der Anzahl der LE liegt, evtl. sogar unter 15.

Etwa im Jahr 2009 war ein Remint von 200 Coins bei [[Geoswag]] erhältlich (vier Varianten). Zusätzlich wurden 15 Jedi-Coins mit grünem Schlumpf als AE erstellt.

Außerdem fehlt die Black Nickel mit grün-Glitter Laserschwert.

Erwähnenswert ist noch, dass lediglich die silberne Coin mit rotem Schlumpf und rot-Glitter Laserschwert neu aufgelegt wurde. Die anderen Editionen beim Remint waren neu.

The Egyptian Scarab Geocoin is based on the Egyptain God Khepri (meaning to emerge of come into being), one of the Gods of creation, the movement of the sun and rebirth – and would often take the form of a scarab beetle. The ancient Egyptians believed that the scarab/dung beetle was special, as it would lay its eggs in a ball of dung and push it along the ground, and the young beetles would eventually emerge from the ball as if created from nothing.
Believing that these beetles were created from dead matter, the dung beetle was strongly associated with rebirth, renewal and resurrection, and scarab amulets would often be buried with the dead the ensure the rebirth of the deceased in the afterlife. The Egyptians also made a connection between the movement of the sun across the sky and the movement of the ball of dung pushed by the beetle.
One myth suggests that Khepri pushed the sun across the sky ahead of him, and that this movement was constant. Every night, Khepri would push the sun down into the underworld, and every morning the sun would emerge again and travel across the sky.

== Beschreibung ==
Tsunrisebeys Merlin's Falcon Geocoin entstand sozusagen durch zufällige Zeichenversuche. Tsun mochte Raubvögel und sie experimentierte zunächst mit der Darstellung eines Phönix. Als sie über die Merlin Falkenstiftung gelesen hatte, entschied sie sich, einen Falken zu zeichnen. Der Falke wird mit ausgebreiteten Flügel gezeigt, in denen sich jeweils eine Öse befindet Dadurch kann die Coin auch als Schmuckstück um den Hals getragen werden. Flammenartige Mustern zieren den Körper des Raubvogels. Dieser Eindruck wird noch durch die Farbgebung unterstrichen. Tsunrisebey designte zunächst sieben verschiedene Falcon Coins . Als naturverbundener Mensch unterstützte Tsun mit dem Verkauf jeder Coin mit jeweils 50 Cent die Merlin Falkenstiftung. Zum Gecoinfest Texas 2014 entschied sich die Künstlerin zum Design zweier weiterer Falken, von denen eine als Einzelstück für einen guten Zwecke versteigert wurde. Ebenfalls erschien 2014 endlich das langersehnte Icon.

Tsunrisebeys Merlin Falcon's Geocoin arose as it were by random characters attempts. Tsun liked birds of prey and they initially experimented with the representation of a phoenix. When she had read about the Merlin Falk Foundation, she decided to draw a falcon. The falcon is shown with outstretched wings, in each of which a hole can be found this way, the coin will be worn as a piece of jewelry around his neck. Flame-like patterns adorn the body of the bird of prey. This impression is further enhanced by the color scheme. Tsunrisebey initially designed seven different Falcon coins. As a nature lover Tsun assisted with the sale of each coin with 50 Cent Merlin the Falk Foundation. For Gecoinfest Texas in 2014, the artist decided to design two other hawks, one of which was auctioned as a single piece for charity.
