Island ist die größte Vulkaninsel der Welt und bietet spektakuläre Orte und somit ein Paradies für Earthcaches. [[geocoinshop.de]] brachte 2014 die Island Geocoin heraus.

Auf der Vorderseite sind folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten dargestellt: 
*1. Hallgrimskirche Reykjavík: Kirche in der Hauptstadt Reykjavik und zweithöchstes Gebäude der Insel
*2. Wasserfällle: charakteristisch für die Insel
*3. Skulptur Wikingerschiff Reykjavík: bekannte Skulptur eines Wikingerschiffes direkt am Wasser
*4. Geysir: Der Namensgeber der Geysire - der große Geysir - ist in Island "zuhause". Auf der ganzen Insel gibt es ca. 26 aktive Geysire

Die Rückseite des Coins zeigt die typische Basaltstruktur nach Vulkanausbrüchen, die bei vielen Earthcaches auf Island zu bestaunen ist.

Iceland is the larges volcano island on the World and offers spectacular locations which makes it a paradise for earth-cacher.

The front shows the following places of interest: 
*1. Hallgrims-Church Reykjavík: a church located in the capital Reykjavik and second largest building on the island
*2. Water falls: characteristic for Iceland
*3. Sculpture viking boat Reykjavík: famous sculpture of a viking boat close to the water
*4. Geyser: „the big Geysir“ eponymous for the word geyser, is located on the island. Iceland offers around 26 active geysers

The backside of the coin shows the typical basalt structures after a volcano eruption. They can be found all over the island.
