Während der Planetary Pursuit Challenge von Groundspeak waren Geocacher von der ganzen Welt aufgerufen, um die Erde zu verlassen und sich auf die Jagd nach den Planeten unseren Sonnensystems zu machen. Zwischen den 19. März und den 15. April konnten hierbei alle Geocacher Punkte sammeln und bis zu zehn Souvenirs einsammeln, um ein offizieller Space Explorer zu werden. 
 
Während der Planetary Pursuit Challenge wurden zwei neue Trackable Sets von [[Shop Geocaching]] veröffentlicht. Dies ist zum einen das Planetary Pursuit Trackable Set und zum anderen das Solar System Trackable Set. Eine vollständige Übersicht ist in der unten aufgeführte Liste zu sehen. Im nachfolgenden Teil wird näher auf das Solar System Trackable Set eingegangen, welches aus neun verschiedenen Geocoins und einer Murmel besteht. Angelehnt an den neun digitalen Souvenirs, die je einen bestimmten Planeten unseren Solarsystems zeigen, finden sich im Set jeder Planeten als Geocoin wieder. Die Größen variieren hierbei von klein (Pluto) bis groß (Jupiter).

During the Planetary Pursuit Challenge by Groundspeak geocacher all around the world were invited to leave mother earth on a journey to every planet in our solar system. Between March the 19th and April the 15th geocachers were able to collect points to earn up to 10 new souvenirs and to become an official space explorer. 
 
Two new trackable sets were released by [[Shop Geocaching]] during the Planetary Pursuit Challenge. Next to the Planetary Pursuit Trackable Set the Solar System Trackable Set was released. A detailed overview of all the trackables is shown in the Planetary Pursuit Challenge list below. The following text features the trackables from the Solar System Trackable Set, which exist out of nine coins and one marble. Along with the digital souvenirs a series of 9 new planet geocoins were released from nano (Pluto) to jumbo (Jupiter).
