Anthus stellte im März 2007 seine Geocoin im Groundspeak Forum vor, die in ihrer Form einem kleinen, aufklappbaren Laptops nachempfunden ist.
Auf der Außenseite des Laptopdeckels ist das Logo des Designers zu sehen.
Es befindet sich dort auch ein Feld, auf welchem die Coin durch Gravur des eigenen Namens personalisiert werden kann.
Auf der Innenseite des Deckels ist das Groundspeak-Logo zu sehen. Die Coins wurden durchnummeriert, so dass jeder Laptop eine eigene Nummer trug.
Der Anthus Laptop war die erste aufklappbare Geocoin und es gab einen regelrechten Hype auf die über 1000 angebotenen Coins.
Sie waren innerhalb drei Tage ausverkauft, wurden aber nachproduziert.

Anthus introduced in March 2007 his new geocoin in the groundspeak network. It's shaped like a small hinged laptop.
On the outside (lower side) a logo of Anthus is visible.
There is space for engraving your name to personalize the coin.
On the inside of the cover you see the groundspeak logo. The coins have been numbered with an individual number.
The Anthus Laptop Geocoin was the first hinged coin which started a hype on the more than 1000 coins.
They were soldout within 3 days thus they were reproduced.
