Seit einigen Jahren gibt es in den Niederlanden jährlich ein Designwettbewerb zur Gestaltung der Dutch Geocoin.
Jeder ist aufgerufen eine oder mehrere Geocoin Designs einzureichen, von denen am Ende ein Entwurf ausgewählt
und produziert wird.
Auch im Jahr 2014 gab es viele interessante Entwürfe, wobei sich der Geocoin Designentwurf von Ogima gegenüber
den anderen eingereichten Dutch Geocoin Entwürfen durchgesetzt hat.
Ogima's Entwurf basiert auf dem silbernen Wilhelmina Guilder aus dem Jahre 1914, welcher die Grundlage für seinen
Designentwurf bildete. Neben dem "Dutch Geocoin 2014" Schriftzug wurde ein GPS Gerät sowie als Ogima's persönliches
Markenzeichen ein kleiner Drachen in seinem Dutch Geocoin Designentwurf eingearbeitet. Die Vorderseite der Geocoin
zeigt den niederländischen Gulden-Wappenlöwen, die Rückseite des Bildes der Niederländischen Königin Wilhelmina.
Zusätzlich wurde der obligatorische Satz "track this geocoin at geocaching.com" leicht abgewandelt und durch den
Satz "track this guilder at geocaching.com" ersetzt. Guilder ist Alt-Niederländisch und bedeutet nichts anderes als ein Niederländischer Gulden.
Als kleine Überraschung befindet sich auf dem Seitenrand der Geocoin zusätzlich noch
die Aufschrift: * IN * GEOCOINS * WE * TRUST * was durchaus einen der Leitsätze der S.S.o.C.A. hätte sein können.
In Zusammenarbeit mit woejam wurde der Entwurf von Ogima weiter verfeinert und die verschiedenen
Versionen der neuen Dutch Geocoin abgestimmt.

Since several years there is an annual design competition for the configuration of the new annaul Dutch Geocoin.
Everyone can submit one or more drafts of which one will be chosen and minted.
There were several interesting drafts submitted in 2014. In the end the draft of Ogima made it.
The idea for the draft from Ogima is based on the silver „Wilhelmina Guilder“ (Wilhelmina guilder) from the year 1914.
The obverse shows the dutch gulden lion arms together with the lettering „Dutch Geocoin 2014“.
Left of the lion the personal trade mark of Ogima (a small dragon) is visible and right of it a GPS device.
The reverse shows the former dutch queen Wilhelmina.
Additionally the compulsory sentence „track this geocoin at geocaching.com“ was slightly modified to „track this guilder at geocaching.com“.
Guilder is the former name for the dutch gulden.
As an additional surprise the phrase „ * IN * GEOCOINS * WE * TRUST * “ can be found on the side of the coin.
This could have been easily one of the guiding principle of the S.S.o.C.A.
Together with woejam Ogima refined the original draft and they adjusted the several editions.
