Die Nudibranch Geocoin wurde von Dorkfish (Karma) am 25. Februar 2008 im GC-Forum vorgestellt.
Das komplette Set bestand vorerst aus fünf Nudibranch Micro-Geocoins, die sie privat verkauft hat.
Zusätzlich zu dem 5er Set konnte eine spezielle Nudibranch Micro-Geocoin erworben werden.
Diese Sonder-Edition wurde im März 2008 nur einzelnen Käufern der Nudibranch Geocoin angeboten
und an diese herausgegeben.<br
Als Motiv für die Nudibranch Geocoin hat Dorkfish einen Nacktkiemer (lat. Nudibranchia) ausgewählt,
allgemein auch als Meeresnacktschnecke bezeichnet. Am Kopf sind zwei Fühler (Rhinoporen), die
Sinnesorgane zur Strömungswahrnehmung enthalten und eine Art Kiemengebilde hinten auf dem Rücken.

First only five coins were presented and sold privately.
Additionally to the five Nudibranch Geocoin in Marth 2008 a special 6th coin was offered/sold to several of the buyers.
Dorkfish shaped the design of the Nudibranch Geocoin after reall living nudibranch (lat. nudibranchia).
They are also known as sea slugs. Sea slugs have at their head two tentacles (rhinopores)
which contains stream sensory organs and on their back some kind of gill structure.
