Die National Park Service ist eine Behörde der United States federal government, welche alle National Parks, viele nationalle Monumente und historische Denkmäler in den USA betreut.
  • Arches Arrowhead Geocoin: Der Arches National Park ist ein Nationalpark der Vereinigten Staaten im US-Bundesstaat Utah. Er bewahrt die weltweit größte Konzentration an natürlichen Steinbögen (engl.: arches), die durch Erosion und Verwitterung ständig neu entstehen und wieder vergehen. Im Parkgebiet sind über 2000 Arches mit einer Öffnung von mindestens 90 cm (3 Fuß) nachgewiesen. [1]
  • Yosemite Arrowhead Geocoin: Der Yosemite National Park ist ein Nationalpark der Vereinigten Staaten im US-Bundesstaat Kalifornien. Der Park wurde 1864 auf der Grundlage des kalifornischen Rechts geschaffen und 1890 von der Bundesregierung übernommen. Er ist das Herz des größeren Yellowstone-Ökosystems und wurde 1978 zum UNESCO zum Weltnaturerbe erklärt. [1]
  • Everglades Arrowhead Geocoin: Die Everglades National Park ist ein Nationalpark der Vereinigten Staaten im US-Bundesstaat Florida. Die Everglades reichen vom Lake Okeechobee im Norden bis an die äußerste Südspitze der Florida-Halbinsel und es besteht überwiegend aus ein tropisches Marschland, welches auch Grasfluss genannt wird. Dieser "Fluss" ist auf den ersten Blick nicht als solcher zu erkennen, da er nur selten als offene Wasserfläche zutage tritt. Ein Teil der Everglades ist als Everglades-Nationalpark geschützt und UNESCO-Welterbe. [1]

Er verläuft durch die US-amerikanischen Appalachen, seine Endpunkte liegen bei Springer Mountain in Georgia und Mount Katahdin in Maine. Der AT durchquert 14 US-Bundesstaaten: Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire und Maine.
