Das ist die erste Personalcoin von "ThePetersTrio" aus Oregon, USA. Die Vorderseite zeigt eine symmetrische Anordnung von Kois. Die Rückseite zeigt die Silouette von Portland, Oregon mit dem Mount Hood im Hintergrund.
Die Coin ist beidseitig mit hart-emaillierten Farben gestaltet.

The "thepeterstrio Geocoin" is the first personal coin from ThePetersTrio. ThePetersTrio of Portland Geocoin has been a dream of him since he first fell in love with geocoins in 2005. Jamie of MadhattersNeverland turned his idea into art, and Sharon of Hogwildstuff finally minted the coin.
For the front side ThePetersTrio wanted to represent his Family. Since they have a koi pond in their backyard and all of the Family members are pisces (also represented by fish swimming in opposition) the choice of design was pretty straight forward.
ThePetersTrio decided that the back side had to represent their lovely City of Roses, Portland, Oregon. Those who are familiar with Portland may recognize this view from Washington Park looking east toward Mount Hood as the sun rises above the cityscape. To tie in our love of geocaching they decided to place a cache poking out of the hedge to the right of the bench. Added with the quote 'The resolution of all our fruitless searches' at the bottom. This is a borrowed lyric from one of their favorite songs.
Regular edition platings are antique bronze and antique silver, limited to 100 each. Two-tone edition is limited to 50.
