Teil 9: Aphrodite

Notizen des Designer, Chris Mackey:
Meet Aphrodite who is featured on the front of this Geocoin, as a young and ageless goddess known for beauty and love. On the reverse side her symbolic flower, the rose, comprises a heart as the common symbol of love surrounded by the flora and fauna attributed to her worship and the word Love overhead. The ancient Greeks believed love is broken into 4 distinctly different catagories: Agape, brotherly love and charity. Eros, intimate love, but also love of the soul (wedding love). Philia, friendship and love of others as equals and respect. Lastly, Storge is the love of family and particularly parents and children and between siblings.

Knowing that we wanted this series of geocoins to be a special part of any collection, we reached out to celebrated designer Christian Mackey to create these exclusive designs.
